Overview

The Sussex-Lisbon Youth Baseball Association’s Recreational Program is designed to teach players the fundamentals of baseball while having fun. Baseball is a game that can last a lifetime providing years of fun and fitness. We are always looking for parents/adult volunteers to get involved in our program, if you are interested in coaching or volunteering please let us know.

4k - 5k Co-ed Coach Pitch

• Players in this league must be a 4K or K5 student at the start of the season. Students from all schools and all districts welcome
• The division is an introductory program to develop and strengthen hand-eye coordination, the proper batting stance and swing. It is coach pitch and hitting tee
• The coaches will pitch to the players and only use the tee if the player is unable to hit the ball from the first set of coach pitches
• The division will play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
• Practices will be once per week starting the week of May 21st. 
• Games will be twice per week beginning June 11th and running through July 11th.
• Super Saturday will be held on July 13th.

Game Cancellations

Games are cancelled for lightning and/or unplayable fields. Games are not cancelled by coaches, it is a SLYBA Board decision 30 minutes prior. Cancelling practices is up to each coach, but may be cancelled by the SLYBA should there be lightning and/or unplayable fields. 

How do I Register? 

If you already have an account with us, please click on log-in in the upper right-hand corner. If you do not have a household account, please click on register. This will enable you to create a household account and you will then be able to receive emails from SLYBA about upcoming registration and other important events. Registration is online only and payment is due at the time of registration.

Refunds

There are no refunds for any reason.

Uniforms and Equipment

SLYBA provides team uniforms, practice and game balls, bats, as well as tees and catcher equipment (if applicable).

For practices wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather, baseball cleats, and bring baseball glove and water bottle.  For games wear the full uniform provided by SLYBA, and bring your glove and water bottle. If you have your own bat, you are allowed to use it.
